silhouette cat

Hello!
I'm trying a new technique today: silhouette card.
i've worked hard to make it colourful though.
and since the idea of a new technique was inspired by Lawn fawnatics' new challenge, i decided to make it with Lawn Fawn dies only. so here goes:
I first inked up a sky with a masked sun, using different distress inks. then added the LF leafy tree backdrop and the simple grass border with some foam to add dimension.
i then stamped a cat from the meow you doin' stamp set on a black paper with some silver ink to see its outline then fussy cut it, then turned it down so that the ink didn't show and added it to the scene.

For the birds....i searched through out my LF dies, knowing for sure that i would find something to help me out...and i did ! i couldn't stop laughing at this unexpected use of woodland critter huggers' mouth ! (i just cut out the nose, turn the mouth upside down and here are some perfect romantic birds flying away in the late sky).
so i hope you like my card!
i'm entering the following challenges:

-sss: make your own background
-cute card thursday: cute critters
