yesterday i made a card for a sad occasion. It's not easy to make cards like that and i wanted it to be both solemn and a bit warm...
it was my very fist attempt at embossing such fine details as the constellations of Lawn Fawn's Upon a star stamp set, and i was a little nervous cause i didn't think it would come out that well. i had bought the ranger's super fine white embossing powder and the versamark ink especially.
i was very surprised to see that it worked so well.
after embossing the stars i inked up the sky and sprinkled it with water.
then i framed it up with Mama elephant Union square die on some foam and added the grass and bunny.
the bunny was colored with 3 promarkers: ice grey1, pale grey and cool grey 4.
i wanted to highlight the card with a bow , maybe it's too long, i don't know.
the sentiment inside is a stamp by Mama elephant's shooting star set. i embossed it with holographic powder.
i'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Lawn fawnatics: new technique (super fine white embossing)
cuttlebug mania: ribbon and bows
-sss: make your own background
-All sorts: something with B (bunny, bow, black)
-As you like it: favourite way to add a sentiment (on a label or inside so i don't mess up the card if the stamping's not right as i don't have a misti. and i love to emboss it with holographic glitter)
+Pammie's Inky Pinkes: anythg goes
